Shure SM57 (a few)

A very obscure mic, rarely seen in public, only available through dark, underground vintage resellers.

That's a joke. Maybe the most used mic of all time. Anybody who has ever plugged in an XLR cable has probably used one. Most often used on guitar cabs and snare. Some people hate 'em (Albini, Wittman), and I actually get that. They do have their quirks, and often I will use something else where many use a 57; but sometimes, a 57 really is the tool for the job.

Plus, you have to really, really, really try to kill one of these. I've done it - but I'm an advanced klutz, don't try this at home.
