SOFTWARE
i9 10900 DAW
Basic wintel machine. Yeah, I know a lot of folks use Apple. I don't. Maybe in 1988 it would matter, but today, the practical difference is nonexistent. What's more important is how you interact with the interface than any technical BS. I prefer the more customizable and available parts of a WinTel machine. Not that Windows doesn't come with it's own bag of hassle; but ya gotta pick yer poison.
This has an i9 10900 CPU, which is blazing fast, 32GB of RAM, gobs of hard drive space (including 2 TB of SSD which is the best thing I ever did for my computer), and all sorts of cool lights and stuff.
I use dual 24" monitors, side by side. One has editing stuff, the other has the software mixer on it. It's very impressive looking. Really, for me, the ideal computer is the one I don't think about because it doesn't get in my way. So far so good with this config.
